Johnny Fukumoto B.A. KPE, CSEP-CPT
Living a healthy life is my passion. If you spend 5 minutes with me, it will be clear to you that I love what I do! I want to meet you where you’re at: in your current level of fitness, in your struggle to eat better, in your quest to tackle life’s events with courage and confidence.
My experience is diverse.
20 Years of competitive hockey, as well as baseball, football and volleyball. 8 Years of sports camp programming at Muskoka Woods Sports Resort for youth aged 7-17. 2 years as Site Leader for CMU’s Outtatown adventure program to South Africa. 2 years as a Wellness Consultant at the renowned Wellness Institute working with various chronic populations such as those battling osteoporosis and kidney disease. I’ve also been involved in other international programs such as Impact Romania, an organization developed to help empower orphans with life skills and meaningful relationships. Oh yes, and my Kinesiology degree came from Wilfrid Laurier University which is celebrating 100 years of excellence this year!
Have you had nagging injuries or limitations?
Perhaps with your knee, lower back, shoulder? Me too but I can still crank out awesome workouts! I know that we can modify exercises for you so you can keep moving as best you can. If this isn’t the greatest starting point for you, I will honestly let you know.
I am not perfect!
Isn’t that awesome? Nobody gets life right or their healthy habits down pat 100% of the time. However, I am getting better each year and I know you can too. I am committed to intense training, healthy eating, and continual education and study to bring you the best information, program methodology, and genuine care that I can. Who wants an out of shape trainer who doesn’t care what they put in their body and who thinks they know EVERYTHING. You shouldn’t.
I’m looking for people who want to “bring it” to class, eat better, and add their own positive spark to our community. That’s it!
I want to meet you, train you, get to know you, make you laugh, challenge you, learn from you, and be inspired by the changes you are making!
